This full wall-to-wall media installation was completed in Lindfield, near Haywards Heath, creating a clean and contemporary focal point within the living space. The customer supplied the electric fireplace, and the design was built around precise recess dimensions provided in advance, ensuring a seamless and tailored fit across the entire wall.
Six recesses were formed within the media wall, including two lower openings fitted with custom-manufactured carcasses made to exact measurements. These featured open-door fronts with shelved interiors, providing practical concealed storage while maintaining a streamlined appearance. All electrics were installed and connected by a qualified electrician, with careful planning to keep wiring fully hidden within the structure.
Additional work included boxing in and concealing poorly installed pipework left by a previous contractor, significantly improving the overall finish of the room. A transmitter system was installed to allow Sky TV and other media devices to operate without visible equipment, keeping the space uncluttered. Integrated ceiling speakers were fitted within the ceiling void, and the ceiling was plaster boarded in collaboration with the client to complete the installation to a high standard.
